More than 1100 cases have been reported in the state for the 5th consecutive day. In the last 24 hours, 1136 new cases have been reported in the state and 24 patients have died. While 875 patients have recovered and returned home. At the same time, the total number of cases in the state has reached 62,574, while the death toll has risen to 2,465. A total of 45782 patients have been discharged in the state so far. 26303 tests have been done in the state today. A total of 7,91,080 tests have been conducted in the state so far. There are currently 14327 active cases in the state, out of which 78 are on ventilator and 14249 are stable.

The 68 days of lockdown resulted in an average of 246 cases and 15 deaths per day
15849 cases, 810 deaths and 13751 discharges in 30 days of June
In the 31 days of July, there were 28795 cases, 593 deaths and 21237 discharges
It has been 135 days since the Koro epidemic in Gujarat. A four-phase lockdown was announced from March 25 to May 31 to prevent the transition to corona. In these 68 days of lockdown, 16,760 cases were reported and 1,010 patients died. It seemed that now the state of Corona in the state could be controlled and economic activities could not be stopped for a long time so the state was gradually unlocked. But in the Unlock-2 phase from June 1 to July 31, Corona's rocket speed has increased in the state. In these 61 days, 44644 cases were reported in the state and 1403 patients died. That means 246 cases and 15 deaths were reported daily in the lockdown. An average of 731 cases and 23 deaths are reported daily in Unlock. Unlock 1-2 has two and a half times more cases than cases reported in lockdown.
