How to Order Aadhaar PVC Card
There are several basic step to order Aadhaar PVC card as below
Step 1 : First Go to Official Web Site -> https://uidai.gov.in
Step 2 : Click My Aadhaar Menu.
Step 3 : Click Order Aadhaar PVC Card Option.
Step 4 : Display The Aadhaar PVC Card Page.
Step 5 : Enter Details Like Aadhaar Number / Virtual ID / EID
Step 6 : Enter Security Code
Step 7 : Select the option of the registered number to get OPT. If the Mobile number not Registered, fill in an alternative number if available.
Step 8 : Click Send OTP Button.
Step 9 : Tick Mark "Terms and Condition" Option.
Step 10 : Enter OTP Code and Click Submit Button.
Step 11 : Click "Make a Payment" option, you will reach the payment gateway, where you will get the option of Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
Step 12 : Fill Payment Details and Submit. (Rs. 50/- Charge for Order Aadhaar PVC Card).
Step 13 : Download Receipt for payment for Order Aadhaar PVC Card.
Things to know about PVC Aadhaar card
While the PVC Aadhaar card allows you to carry your Aadhaar with you easily, here are some things about the card that you should know about –
Availing of a PVC Aadhaar card is not mandatory. If you have the original Aadhaar card, mAadhaar, eAadhaar or the Aadhaar Letter, they would also serve as the Aadhaar card and help you in verification purposes.
If there are some changes in the details contained on your Aadhaar card and you want the updated details to be printed on the PVC Aadhaar card, you should first get the details changed in your original Aadhaar card. The PVC Aadhaar card replicates the details mentioned on the Aadhaar card and so, for any update, the Aadhaar card should first be changed.
Once you place an online order for a PVC Aadhaar card, the UIDAI prints and hands over the card to the Department of Posts (DoP) within a period of 5 working days. Thereafter, the DoP dispatches the card which takes another few days to reach you.
