The Indian government has urged people to hoist the Tricolour with contempt from August 13 to 15. The initiative’s mission is to instill a sense of patriotism in citizens and strengthen their bonds with the Tricolor.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday urged citizens to join and strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. He urged people to fly the national flag in their homes between August 13 and 15, this year, to commemorate the completion of 75 years of independence, which is being celebrated as Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The government has also launched a website called harghartiranga.com/ to promote the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign. Indians can hoist the flag in their homes using the website. On the website, one can also virtually ‘Pin a Flag’ and post a ‘Selfie with Flag.’

Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, abhiyan: The government has started the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign or abhiyan as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to mark the 75th year of India's Independence.
The government has urged citizens to proudly hoist the Tricolour at their homes from August 13 to 15 and upload pictures on harghartiranga.com under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign.

The Department of Legal Affairs will award attractive cash prizes, trophies, and certificates to the National and State level winners in each competition (DoLA). In collaboration with MyGov, e-certificates may be issued to all participants.

Step 1: You must first sign into the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’s official website.
Step 2: Select “Upload Selfie” after that. You will see a dialogue window appear after choosing this option.
Step 3: You should then be required to enter your name into the dialogue box.
Step 4: You should have to drag it down or select a file to upload.
Step 5: After the photo has been uploaded, select “Submit.”
