The Gujarat government has increased the dearness allowance to the state government employees and pensioners by 3 percent. Due to this, a total of 9.38 lakh people will benefit from the workers and pensioners benefiting from the 7th Pay Commission. Dearness Allowance payable from 1 January 2022 will be paid in three installments. The difference amount of seven months will be paid in three installments.
This will put a burden of 1400 crores on the state government
In these three installments, the first installment will be paid in August 2022, the second installment with September 2022 salary and the third installment with October salary. The state government has informed that this additional benefit will be available only to the employees who have been given the benefit of the seventh pay commission. Due to this increase in dearness allowance, the financial burden of the state government will increase by approximately Rs 1400 crore annually.Important Link.
The grade pay movement of Gujarat Police has come to a happy end today. Announcing the police grade pay , CM Bhupendra Patel said that a fund of Rs.550 crore has been approved by the government. A committee was formed on the demand of policemen. Meetings were organized under the chairmanship of me and the Home Minister. The decision has been taken keeping in mind the recommendations of the meetings and the committee.

Earlier the salary of police constable was 3 lakh 63 thousand 660 per annum
After the increase, the annual salary of the police constable is 4,16,400
58,740 increase in annual salary of Police Head Constable
Earlier the annual salary of Police Head Constable was 4,36,654
Now after the increase the salary of Police Head Constable is 4,95,394
64,740 in annual pay of ASI was increased
Earlier the annual salary of ASI was Rs 5,19,354
Now after the increase the annual salary of ASI is 5,84,094
