The India National Cricket Team will be taking on Pakistan in their first group match of T20 World Cup 2022 on August 28 at the Aus International Cricket Stadium. Both the teams have declared their squad for the high-octane clash and the teams will be raring to go against each other.

India Squad for T20 World Cup 2022: Rohit Sharma (Captain), KL Rahul (vice-captain), Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Deepak Hooda, Rishabh Pant (wicket-keeper), Dinesh Karthik (wicket-keeper), Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, R. Ashwin, Yuzvendra Chahal, Ravi Bishnoi, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Arshdeep Singh, Avesh Khan.Jasprit Bumrah and Harshal Patel were not available for selection owing to injuries. They are currently undergoing rehab at the NCA in Bengaluru.
Three players Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel and Deepak Chahar have been named as standbys.
