The Vadodara Municipal Corporation has published the notification for ambitious candidates who want to serve the citizens of the state. The VMC authorities have invited applications for the post of Public Health Worker and Field Worker. VMC Recruitment 2023 Notification
The Municipal Corporation of Vadodara has released 448 vacancies for Public Health Workers and 106 vacancies for field workers. This has been a one-time opportunity for the candidates who are willing to work for the betterment of the people of Gujarat. The applicants are advised to submit the applications prior to the last date of application and are advised to go through the eligibility criteria properly. The eligibility criteria have been provided in the following paragraphs.
Age limit
Not less than 18 years and not more than 45 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation as per rules.
- Not more than 59 years as on the date of advertisement for candidates who have done field duty in Health Department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation.
- Candidates who are doing field duty in Health Department of Vadodara Municipal Corporation and above 45 years of age can also fill the form online.
- Candidates who have previously done field duty in Vadodara Municipal Health Department will have to fulfill it at the time of document verification.

A category wise common merit will be created according to which the candidate will be given preference if there is a vacancy in the preferred zone.

- Now on the top of the homepage, there will be an option for ‘Recruitment’.Click on that icon.
- A new page regarding VMC recruitment will open up on the screen.
- Here on this page, the candidate can select the designation for which he or she is eligible. Click on the Apply Online icon.
- A new page requiring the basic details about the applicant will open up on the screen.
- Now fill in the details such as Name, Father’s Name, and Address.
- Also, fill in the educational details and the work experience if any.
- Eventually, the applicant will have to upload the scanned photo and have to submit the application form.
